Pay the Japanese Exporter by Bank Transfer
Payment is made only to the official Japanese exporter bank account stated on the exporter-issued invoice or contract.
Inspection and Shipment
QISJ inspection is arranged before shipment. The official inspection document is provided after the vehicle successfully passes inspection. The vehicle is then shipped to Mombasa according to the exporter’s process.

Our Kenya team supports communication regarding arrival and can guide you on separate Kenya-side taxes, clearance and delivery arrangements.

Costs
Quotations are issued as CFR Mombasa unless stated otherwise in writing. CFR Mombasa covers the vehicle cost, Japan export handling and documentation as included by the exporter, and ocean freight to Mombasa.
Kenya-side charges are separate. These include import duty and taxes, IDF, RDL and VAT or other applicable charges, port and clearance fees, registration and inland delivery in Kenya. The Kenya team can guide you on the Kenya-side process.
